Meet Billie, a 4-year-old Shepherd mix who is struggling at the shelter but shines as a cuddle bug on day trips. She was surrendered by her owner due to a move, a transition that has been tough for her since she was deeply loved and well cared for.
Billie thrives on human companionship, often rolling over for belly rubs. Her ideal moments are spent lounging with her person in the grass, soaking up the sun. However, she needs to be the only pet in your home due to stress from shelter life. With the right training and support, she can adapt; she previously lived harmoniously with two other Shepherds and children aged 4 to 12.
Right now, Billie isn’t getting the physical and mental stimulation she needs and is eager to leave the shelter. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with the intelligence of a Shepherd, come meet Billie and see if she’s the right match for you. Feel free to message me with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.
